We reviewed consecutive patients undergoing hip arthroscopy for loose bodies after sustaining hip dislocations and fracture-dislocations not requiring open fracture management. Eleven patients were identified, all with intra-articular loose bodies diagnosed by computed tomography. After 3 weeks, all patients underwent hip arthroscopy in which loose bodies were removed and labral pathology debrided. No patient developed any of the complications (avascular necrosis, heterotopic ossification, nerve injury) associated with hip arthrotomy. Arthroscopic treatment of intraarticular loose bodies after hip dislocations and fracture-dislocations allows excellent joint visualization for loose body removal and labral tear diagnosis and treatment.

Purpose: To assess the utility of pre-procedural knee MRI prior to genicular artery embolization (GAE) for the prognostication of early outcomes for symptomatic knee osteoarthritis (KOA).
Materials And Methods: A single-center study including 39 patients received GAE from 9/2021-4/2025 with pre-procedural MRIs. MRIs were evaluated for structural abnormalities including menisci, ligaments, cartilage, marrow signal, and loose bodies.

Background: Posterior elbow impingement is often seen in athletes who engage in overhead sports that involve repetitive elbow extension; for these patients with persistent symptoms, arthroscopic debridement is often recommended. While traditionally performed in the supine or prone position, arthroscopic elbow debridement performed in the lateral decubitus position has distinct advantages that make it our preferred method.
Indications: Arthroscopic debridement in the context of posterior elbow impingement is utilized when conservative management with rest, physical therapy, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) does not provide improvement in pain or range of motion.

The regulation of vacuolar compartmentation and protein synthesis during the early ripening stage might be responsible for rice appearance at high temperature. High temperature at the early ripening stage disrupts protein synthesis to arrest starch and storage protein accumulation in the rice endosperms, leading to the occurrence of chalky kernels (CK), such as white-back kernels (WBK) and basal-white kernels (BWK). In contrast, adequate nitrogen (N) application might sustain protein synthesis and reduce chalky kernels.
