[reaction: see text] The sequence of hydroformylation and Fischer indole synthesis starting from amino olefins and aryl hydrazines is described. In a convergent manner, the two units bearing pharmacologically relevant substituents are assembled in the final indolization step. This modular and diversity-oriented approach to tryptamines and homotryptamines can be conducted in water and allows synthesis of branched and nonbranched tryptamines as well as tryptamine-based pharmaceuticals such as the 5-HT1D agonist L 775 606.

Background: Since Ludwig proposed the term "nonalcoholic steatohepatitis" (NASH) for this liver disease in 1980, there have been many advances in understanding it, including its epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnostic methods, and treatment.
Objective: This literature review aims to discuss the most relevant aspects of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
Methods: The review included clinical studies from the following databases: Embase, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Lilacs, Ovid, and Scopus.

Crosstalk between leukemic cells and their surrounding mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) in the bone marrow microenvironment is crucial for the pathogenesis of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and is mediated by extracellular vesicles (EVs). The EV-specific miRNAs derived from MDS-MSCs remain poorly explored. EVs isolated from HS-5, an immortalized stromal cell line, promoted the proliferation and 5-azacytidine (AZA) resistance of SKM-1 cells.

Influenza A viruses remain a global health threat, yet no universal antibody therapy exists. Clinical programs have centered on neutralizing mAbs, only to be thwarted by strain specificity and rapid viral escape. We instead engineered three non-neutralizing IgG2a mAbs that target distinct, overlapping epitopes within the conserved N terminus of the M2 ectodomain (M2e).

Purpose: We aimed to compare the effects of atelocollagen (AC) and individual growth factors on the expression of key molecular markers associated with tendon healing.
Methods: C2C12 myoblasts were cultured in Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) containing 5% fetal bovine serum (FBS) and treated with 1 nM or 10 nM of Atelocollagen (AC), bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2), transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1), insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), or vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) for 5 days. After 5 days of treatment, cells were harvested from the culture medium, and Western blot analysis was performed to quantify the expression of phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase (p-ERK), Collagen type I (Col I), Collagen type Ⅲ (Col Ⅲ), and Tenascin C (TnC).

This study aimed to assess the ability of two off-the-shelf large language models, ChatGPT and Gemini, to support the design of pharmacoepidemiological studies. We assessed 48 study protocols of pharmacoepidemiological studies published between 2018 and 2024, covering various study types, including disease epidemiology, drug utilization, safety, and effectiveness. The coherence (i.
