Purpose Of Review: Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) is a relatively new technique, developed to help minimize morbidities associated with traditional harvesting techniques. Wound dehiscence, recurrent cellulitis, hematomas, neuropathies, and impaired mobility are often experienced by patients who have undergone open harvest techniques.
Recent Findings: Use of this developing technique has been hindered due to the skill required to perform this task and time constraints that are often encountered in the operating room.
Summary: However, an adequate vein segment can be obtained in a timely fashion, and harvest site infections are reduced when this method is employed. Results thus far have revealed a decreased infection rate, fewer observed morbidities, and overall patient satisfaction.

Inguinofemoral lymphadenectomy remains a critical component of staging and treatment for vulvar and penile squamous cell carcinoma. Traditionally performed via an open approach, this procedure is associated with significant morbidity, including lymphocyst formation, chronic lymphedema, and delayed recovery. A minimally invasive alternative, via laparoscopic or robotic platforms, is gaining traction as it is associated with a lower risk of surgical morbidity.

Background: Rebleeding after initial endoscopic therapy is associated with high mortality in patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related liver cirrhosis complicated by esophagogastric variceal bleeding (EGVB), imposing a substantial public health burden. Spontaneous portosystemic shunts (SPSS), a compensatory mechanism for portal hypertension, are closely associated with disease progression. This study aimed to develop and validate machine learning (ML) models incorporating clinical and imaging features to predict the risk and frequency of rebleeding following initial endoscopic treatment.
