Given the limitations of using the Cox hazard ratio to summarize the magnitude of the treatment effect, alternative measures that do not have these limitations are gaining attention. One of the recently proposed alternative methods uses the average hazard with survival weight (AH). This population quantity can be interpreted as the average intensity of the event occurrence in a given time window that does not involve study-specific censoring.

Background And Objective: Hierarchical neural networks are pivotal in medical imaging for multi-scale representation, aiding in tasks such as object detection and segmentation. However, their effectiveness is often limited by the loss of intra-scale information and misalignment of inter-scale features. Our study introduces the Integrated-Scale Pyramidal Interactive Reconfiguration to Enhance feature learning (INSPIRE).

We hypothesized that nutrient availability and light condition can affect the growth of wetland plants under heavy metal stress. To test this hypothesis, single ramets of a common, clonal wetland plant Hydrocotyle vulgaris were grown for four weeks at three levels of cadmium with three levels of nutrient availability under 30% or 100% light conditions.
