Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by chronic hyperglycemia and long-term carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism disruptions. This study aimed to identify biomarker of T2D and analyze immune cell infiltration in the islets of T2D patients. Using the GSE76895 dataset, 112 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified between islet samples from T2D and non-diabetic (ND) individuals.
