Background: The neutrophil to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (NHR) is a novel inflammatory-metabolic biomarker that reflects the dynamic interplay between systemic inflammation and lipid-mediated vascular protection. While elevated NHR has been linked to the incidence and prognosis of acute ischemic stroke, its association with early hematoma expansion (HE) in spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (sICH) remains unclear.

Methods: Demographic data, clinical characteristics, laboratory values, and functional outcomes of patients diagnosed with sICH were retrospectively collected and analyzed.

Background: T-cell exhaustion (Tex) can be beneficial in autoimmune diseases, but its role in Graves' disease (GD), an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid, remains unknown. This study investigated Tex-related gene expression in GD patients to discern the potential contributions of these genes to GD pathogenesis and immune regulation.

Methods: Through gene landscape analysis, a protein-protein interaction network of 40 Tex-related genes was constructed.

Objective: Recent reports have demonstrated that a wider pulse pressure upon admission is correlated with heightened in-hospital mortality following spontaneous supratentorial intracerebral hemorrhage (ssICH). However, the underlying mechanism remains ambiguous. We investigated whether a wider pulse pressure was associated with hematoma expansion (HE).
