Organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) with self-amplification have emerged as a promising approach for dopamine monitoring. However, the planar gate electrode structures in current OECTs significantly hinder the improvement of sensitive dopamine detection. Here, we develop an aerosol jet three-dimensional (3D) printing method to generate multiscale micropillar-based OECTs with tunable nanofeatures for ultrasensitive DA detection.

Magnetic microrobots with noncontact and real-time control capabilities have garnered marked attention for targeted drug delivery in narrow, enclosed pathways within the human body. The manufacturing method of these magnetic robots plays a crucial role in determining their functionality. In this study, a photocuring 3-dimensional (3D) printing technique with in situ pixel-scale magnetic programming was developed, enabled by a 3D large-scale uniform magnetic field generator with a high strength of approximately 50 mT.

Strong attachment in complicated human body environments is of great importance for precision medicine especially with the rapid growth of minimal invasive surgery and flexible electronics. Natural organisms with highly evolved feet or claws can easily climb in complex environments from dry to wet and even underwater, providing significant inspiration for strong attachment research. This review summarizes the strong attachment behaviors of natural creatures in varied environments such as the gecko, tree frog, and octopus.

Field-assisted manufacturing (FAM) technology, which employs external fields to transport and manipulate micro/nanoparticles for tailored arrangements and structures, can produce novel materials with specific properties and functions. Acoustic particle manipulation has attracted increasing attention in FAM due to its various advantages, such as a wide range of materials, ease of fabrication, rapid actuation, non-invasive operation and high biocompatibility. The present review summarizes the recent progress of acoustic particle manipulation in the FAM area, with respect to operation principles, fabrication and control of particles, and particle cluster patterning.

With the rapid development of the turtle breeding industry in China, the demand for automated turtle sorting is increasing. The automatic sorting of Chinese softshell turtles mainly consists of three parts: visual recognition, weight prediction, and individual sorting. This paper focuses on two aspects, i.

Miniature magnetic-driven robots with multimode motions and high-precision pose sensing capacity (position and orientation) are greatly demanded in in situ manipulation in narrow opaque enclosed spaces. Various magnetic robots have been carried out, whereas their deformations normally remain in single mode, and the lack of the robot's real-time status leads to its beyond-sight remagnetization and manipulation being impossible. The function integration of pose sensing and multimode motion is still of challenge.

Accurate road extraction and recognition of roadside fruit in complex orchard environments are essential prerequisites for robotic fruit picking and walking behavioral decisions. In this study, a novel algorithm was proposed for unstructured road extraction and roadside fruit synchronous recognition, with wine grapes and nonstructural orchards as research objects. Initially, a preprocessing method tailored to field orchards was proposed to reduce the interference of adverse factors in the operating environment.
