Background: Since its launch in 2017, TikTok has rapidly emerged as a major player in the digital landscape, amassing over a billion active users. Its engaging features have raised concerns about potential problematic use and negative mental health outcomes. Despite increasing scholarly attention, a consolidated understanding of TikTok's problematic use potential and implications remains elusive This systematic review synthesizes empirical research on problematic TikTok use and its impact on mental health.

Background: Cryptocurrency trading seemingly mirrors the high-risk, high-reward nature of gambling, and may cause significant psychological challenges to traders. As cryptocurrency trading becomes mainstream, this scoping review aims to synthesize evidence from empirical studies to understand the emotional, cognitive, and social influences on cryptocurrency traders, and identify associated mental health traits/attributes influencing their behaviors.
Methods: This review adhered to PRISMA-ScR guidelines, pooling in 13 studies involving 11,177 participants across multiple countries.

Background: The escalating number of deaths related to opioid usage has intensified the pursuit of non-opioid alternatives for managing chronic pain. It's often observed that psychiatric comorbidities coexist in patients suffering from chronic pain. There are a variety of psychotropic medications that have demonstrated effectiveness in treating both psychiatric symptoms and pain.

The analgesic medications acetaminophen, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents, muscle relaxants, or narcotics usually produce only short-term benefit. Topiramate was an effective therapy for a post-electroconvulsive therapy headache that did not respond to typical pain medicines.
