Alzheimer's disease (AD) is responsible for more than 80% of cases of dementia in senior individuals globally. In the current study, the role of modulation of the FGF1/PI3K/Akt pathway in the protective effect of tozasertib was evaluated. Experimental dementia was induced in mice by injecting streptozotocin (STZ) intracerebroventricularly.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) that negatively regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. Intramuscular fat (IMF) deposition in livestock is crucial for meat quality, affecting the meat's taste and tenderness. However, there has been little research on the miRNA transcriptome of yak in relation to intramuscular fat deposition in yak.

Dengue (DENV) is a mosquito-borne virus that spreads to humans through the bite of infected female Aedes mosquitoes, causing significant global health problems. This crisis has become more serious due to global warming and the increased prevalence of vector-borne diseases, such as those transmitted by mosquitoes. On the other hand, the request for early detection has increased due to the drawbacks of current serological and molecular procedures.

Breast cancer is a widely studied cancer that involves multiple complex molecular mechanisms in its development and progression. To gain a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms of breast cancer and to search for potential therapeutic targets and prognostic markers, we performed an in-depth analysis of breast cancer gene expression data using weighted co-expression network analysis. First, we downloaded breast cancer-related gene expression data from public databases and performed weighted co-expression network analysis.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the chief cause of dementia and related mortality worldwide due to progressive accumulation of amyloid peptide (Aβ) and hyperphosphorylated tau protein. These neuropathological changes lead to cognitive impairment and memory dysfunction. Notably, most Food drug Administration (FDA) approved anti-AD medications such as tacrine and donepezil are engaged with symptomatic relief of cognitive impairment but do not reverse the underlying AD neuropathology.

Using immunostaining and confocal microscopy, we here provide the first detailed description of otic neurogenesis in . We show that the otic vesicle comprises a pseudostratified epithelium with apicobasal polarity (apical enrichment of Par3, aPKC, phosphorylated Myosin light chain, N-cadherin) and interkinetic nuclear migration (apical localization of mitotic, pH3-positive cells). A Sox3-immunopositive neurosensory area in the ventromedial otic vesicle gives rise to neuroblasts, which delaminate through breaches in the basal lamina between stages 26/27 and 39.

Eya1 and other Eya proteins are important regulators of progenitor proliferation, cell differentiation and morphogenesis in all three germ layers. At present, most of our knowledge of Eya1 distribution is based on in situ hybridization for Eya1 mRNA. However, to begin to dissect the mechanisms underlying Eya1 functions, we need a better understanding of the spatiotemporal distribution of Eya1 proteins during embryonic development, their subcellular localization and their levels of expression in various tissues.
