Large Tumor Suppressor kinases LATS1 and 2 (LATS1/2) are serine/threonine kinases and core regulators of the Hippo-YAP pathway. Inhibition of LATS1/2 promotes nuclear translocation of nonphosphorylated YAP, thereby initiating a downstream cascade promoting cell proliferation. We set out to investigate the potential of LATS inhibition as a therapeutic approach to enhance tissue regeneration and hereby report a structure-guided optimization of screening hit for potency, binding efficiency, and physicochemical properties, leading to a highly selective, cellularly active, and orally available tool compound (NIBR-LTSi) that demonstrated target engagement and in vivo YAP target gene activation in rodents.

Method: A questionnaire was designed where HCPs were asked to rate their patients' perception of natural sounds before and after receiving an HA. The online survey was conducted with 301 HCPs in France.

Objective: To investigate the association between joint manifestations of vascular ageing (VA) and hypertension.
Methods: We used baseline (2008-2012) and follow-up data (up to 2024) from the Paris Prospective Study III, a French cohort of 10,157 participants. Prevalent and incident hypertension were determined at baseline (blood pressure ≥140/90 mmHg or on medication) and at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 years of follow-up (self-reported antihypertensive treatment).

The EBI2 receptor regulates the immune system and is expressed in various immune cells including B and T lymphocytes. It is also expressed in astrocytes in the central nervous system (CNS) where it regulates pro-inflammatory cytokine release, cell migration and protects from chemically induced demyelination. Its signaling and expression are implicated in various diseases including multiple sclerosis, where its expression is increased in infiltrating immune cells in the white matter lesions.

The molecules produced by human-associated microbes are difficult to identify because they may only be made in a local niche or they require a substrate sourced from the host, diet or other microbes. We identified a set of uncharacterized gene clusters in metagenomics data from the human gut microbiome.
