Open access publishing: is urology ready? A survey of authors, readers, and editorial board's knowledge, impressions and satisfaction.

Purpose: To report the level of knowledge, impressions, and satisfaction of Urology readers, authors, and editorial boards regarding Open Access (OA) publishing in the field of Urology and to determine their satisfaction with the current OA models.

Methods: The Waterjet Ablation Therapy for Endoscopic Resection of Prostate Tissue (WATER; NCT02505919) is a prospective, double-blind, international clinical trial encompassing 116 patients, examining Aquablation versus transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) for LUTS/BPH in prostates sized between 30 and 80 cm. In parallel, WATER II (W-II; NCT03123250), a prospective, multicentre, single-arm international clinical trial, explores Aquablation outcomes in prostates ranging from 80 to 150 cm.

Ureteral injury is common complication that need comprehensive understanding of ureteral injury management from minimal invasive intervention to ureteral reimplant in both early and late presentation. However, ureteral injury in duplex system rarely reported in literature. Objectives: To assess the knowledge of and attitudes towards ECT among psychiatrists and family physicians in Saudi Arabia.

Methods: The study is quantitative observational cross-sectional with a convenient sample that included psychiatrists and family physicians (including residents) in Saudi Arabia.

Results: Of the 434 questionnaires emailed, a total of 126 returned completed questionnaires (29% response rate).
