Tick-borne rickettsiosis has posed a significant threat to Egypt, with various pathogenic Rickettsia species being reported. In this study, 134 ticks were collected from camels in Esna City, Luxor, Egypt and all were identified as Hyalomma dromedarii through both morphological and molecular techniques. Using specific primers targeting the citrate synthase (gltA), outer membrane protein A (ompA) and 17 kD antigen (17 kDa) genes, Rickettsia japonica was detected via conventional and nested PCR assays.

Helminthes adapt immune responses of their hosts to reduce immune-mediated IBDs. The identification of the mechanism responsible for this beneficial effect on IBDs will provide another feasible approach to treating these diseases.

Aims And Objectives: To assess the long-term outcomes of individuals diagnosed with myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a case series analysis involving 17 patients diagnosed with inflammatory myocarditis.
Ticks serve as vectors for numerous pathogens affecting human and animal health and harbor various microorganisms, including Francisella-like endosymbionts (FLEs), whose potential pathogenicity remains uncertain. In Egypt, data on FLEs, particularly in Southern Egypt, are limited, despite the importance of tick-borne pathogen surveillance in livestock. This study represents the first report of FLEs in Southern Egypt and the first detection of FLEs in Rhipicephalus annulatus in Egypt.

In Egypt, molecular data on the presence and diversity of Mycoplasma spp. in camels, cattle, buffalo, and their associated ticks remain limited, despite their potential impact on livestock health and productivity.

LGG are the most common kind of central nervous system tumors in children and adolescents, accounting for around half of all cases. Tumor Protein p53 (TP53) regulates or promotes DNA damage and repair via a variety of cell cycle, apoptosis, and genomic stability pathways.

The isomers were di--butyl ether (DNBE), diisobutyl ether (DIBE), and di--butyl ether (DSBE). The flow reactor experiments employed oxygen as the oxidizer and helium as the diluent, with oxidation carried out at atmospheric and elevated pressure conditions and temperatures from 400 to 1000 at 20 K intervals.

The sol-gel method was chosen to prepare particles of submicron size and to control crystal structure by calcination. In this study, copper-based metal matrix composite (MMC) films are developed on brass substrates with different electrodeposition times and alumina concentrations.

In this study, we systematically calculated high-pressure rate rules for the RO isomerization reaction of monoethers, exploring 5-, 6-, 7-, and 8-membered ring transition states. Primary, secondary, and tertiary carbon sites, where both the abstracting peroxy group and the abstracted hydrogen are located, were considered, with particular emphasis on distinguishing between secondary carbons adjacent (alpha) and nonadjacent to the ether functional group.

It is seen in most of the patients living in or coming from tropical areas, and is rarely seen in patients who have never visited these areas. It is characterized by fibrotic thickening of the endocardium, predominantly affecting the ventricular apices and inflow tracts.

TAMs have been shown to be harmful in ovarian cancer (OC), with a positive correlation between their high levels of tumors and poor overall patient survival. These cells are crucial in the progression and chemoresistance of OC.

PEGylated MWCNTs were created and used as a carrier for targeting the antineoplastic drug Ixazomib to myeloma cancer cells (abnormal plasma cells). Ixazomib (MLN2238) was covalently encapsulated into functionalized carbon nanotubes modified with polyethylene glycol (PEG 600) to obtain MWCNTs-PEG-MLN2238.

As OH radicals are abundant in both combustion and atmospheric environments, OH-initiated oxidation of these isopentenols over wide ranges of temperatures and pressures needs to be investigated. In alkenes, OH addition to the double bond is prominent at low temperatures (, below ∼700 K), and H-atom abstraction dominates at higher temperatures.

Right aortic arch with a left innominate (brachiocephalic) artery with mirror image branching (RAMI) is a rare congenital anomaly, and it is unusual to diagnose it in adulthood. There are very few cases of cardiac surgery being performed for acquired cardiac disease on a congenital RAMI patient. We present a patient who had an incidental finding of a RAMI anomaly found during coronary artery bypass surgery.

The conventional isomerization of OOQOOH radicals to form ketohydroperoxides has been long believed to be the most important chain branching reaction under the low-temperature combustion conditions. In this work, the kinetics of competing pathways (alternative isomerization, concerted elimination, and H-exchange pathways) to the conventional isomerization of different β-, γ- and Δ-OOQOOH butane isomers are investigated.
