Background And Objectives: BK polyomavirus (BKPyV) poses a significant threat to kidney transplant (KT) recipients due to immunosuppression, leading to BK-associated nephropathy (BKVN) and reduced transplant survival. Materials & Methods: Oral doses of cytidine, uridine, and gabapentin (100 mg/kg each) were administered to rats with streptozotocin-induced diabetic neuropathy and in a formalin test model.
