- The study aimed to assess the safety and effectiveness of transparent cap-assisted blunt dissection (TCABD) for removing gastric submucosal tumors (G-SMT) under 2cm, compared to the traditional electronic knife method.
- Patients were split into two groups (TCABD vs. conventional method) to evaluate factors such as operation time, complication rates, and hospital costs.
- Results showed that TCABD had a shorter operation time, lower complication rates, and reduced hospitalization expenses, indicating it as a safer and more efficient method for G-SMT resection.
