Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the developmental trajectory of movement-evoked pain after knee arthroplasty and analyze the predictors of different developmental trajectory categories.
Patients And Methods: In this study, a total of 178 patients undergoing knee arthroplasty were recruited from the Department of Joint Surgery at a tertiary care hospital in China. Participants completed the General Data Questionnaire, the Social Support Revaluated Scale, and the Pain Catastrophizing Scale on the day before surgery (T1).
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the correlation between preoperative pain catastrophizing and social support, and acute post-surgical pain in patients who underwent knee arthroplasty. The study also aimed to determine whether social support moderates the role of pain catastrophizing psychologically in acute post-surgical pain after knee arthroplasty.
Patients And Methods: This study recruited participants to survey a tertiary hospital in Dalian, China, between November 2022 and October 2023.
Extensive multi-species harmful algal blooms (HABs) were triggered by Super Typhoon Lekima in Laizhou Bay (Bohai Sea) in August 2019. After conducting two field cruises before and after the typhoon passage, we employed both high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-pigment and microscopic methods to study the changes in the phytoplankton community and biomass. Following the passage of Lekima, the average surface salinity decreased, while dissolved inorganic nitrogen and dissolved silicate concentrations increased in the study area.
