Background: Improved cancer survival rates have highlighted second primary malignancies (SPMs), with the thyroid gland being one of the most common organs developing SPMs in cancer survivors. Second primary papillary thyroid carcinoma (2-PTC) is the predominant type, yet it remains poorly understood. This study aims to delineate the clinicopathological features and survival outcomes of 2-PTC and assess the efficacy of postoperative radioactive iodine therapy (post-RAIT) in reducing mortality risks in intermediate-risk 2-PTC patients.

However, the key targets and toxicity mechanisms underlying TP-induced enteritis remain unclear. In this study, we utilized network toxicology combined with molecular docking to comprehensively explore the potential molecular mechanisms underlying TP-induced enteritis.

Methods: A cohort study using electronic health records (2010-2020) across Weinan, a city in northwest China, which experiences persistently high PM levels and frequent sand and dust storms, included 1,553,724 adults aged ≥45 years.
Conductive hydrogels have emerged as promising materials for flexible wearable electronics; however, their facile fabrication remains challenging. This study presents an antifreeze, antibacterial, and conductive hydrogel constructed from biomacromolecules sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMCNa) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The hydrogel was synthesized via a simple one-pot method in an ethylene glycol/water (EG/H₂O) binary solvent system, incorporating lithium chloride (LiCl) and clove essential oil (CEO), followed by a single freeze-thaw cycle.

Promoting lymphatic vessel regeneration is an important method for repairing lymphedema. SOX18 can regulate lymphatic vessel development and plays a crucial role in promoting lymphatic vessel generation. This study aims to demonstrate the role of SOX18 in regulating lymphatic vessel regeneration for the repair of lymphedema and explore its related molecular mechanism.
