Finding missing tuberculosis (TB) cases from the "under-reached" population of urban slums and connecting them with TB services is a priority and ongoing challenge for India. It requires the effective engagement of community health workers including urban Accredited Social Health Activists (U-ASHAs). The study aimed to understand the current engagement of U-ASHAs in TB care and their commensurate preparedness in terms of TB knowledge and training.

Challenges persist in reducing the atlantodental interval, especially in cases with oblique or vertical C1-C2 joints.

Here, we envisage the development of the rapid, reliable, and facile electrochemical sensor for the primary detection of xanthine (Xn) which is significant for the food quality measurement, based on the silver-doped molybdenum disulfide (Ag@MoS) nanosheets. The structural and compositional properties of the prepared samples were tested through X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, and X-ray photon spectroscopy (XPS). The two-dimensional (2D) MoS nanosheets provide the large surface area for the sensing applications and the silver ions help in the enhanced electrochemical response.

In this article, highly fluorescent phosphorus(V) corrole was synthesised which was then combined with CdSe quantum dots (QDs) in order to study Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) mechanism between CdSe QDs (donor) and phosphorus corrole (acceptor). Spectral overlap between QD's emission profile and corrole's absorption profile was found to be significant enough to result into Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET). The UV-vis spectrum experienced increase in the absorption bands on addition of phosphorus corrole to CdSe QDs suggesting QD-corrole conjugation.

Four free base corroles, 1-4, AB, (where A = nitrophenyl, and B = pentafluorophenyl, 2, 6-difluoro, 3, 4, 5-trifluoro and 4-carboxymethylphenyl group) have been synthesized, characterized and demonstrated as excellent chemosensor for the detection of fluoride ions selectively in toluene solution. The reported corroles shows highest quantum yield in free base form of porphyrinoid systems so far. All these corrole, 1-4, have the excellent ability to sense fluoride ion.

Methodology: An interventional study was carried out among 400 handicraft factory workers on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criterion.
Oral cancer is considered as a serious health problem resulting in high morbidity and mortality. Early detection and prevention play a key role in controlling the burden of oral cancer worldwide. The five-year survival rate of oral cancer still remains low and delayed diagnosis is considered as one of the major reasons.
