Background: Mental health problems are a barrier to the well-being of youth living with HIV. Many youth living with HIV in Nigeria face peculiar biopsychosocial vulnerabilities that predispose them to mental health problems including depression and substance use. In addition to improving treatment outcomes like medication adherence and linkage to care, peer engagement has shown some promise in improving the social and emotional well-being of this population.

Introduction: adolescents in the Gambia face significant challenges in accessing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, hindered by sociocultural barriers, inadequate education, and systemic limitations. This review will examine the existing evidence on the effects of diagnosis, management, and prognosis of the four common gynaecological malignancies (ovarian, endometrial, cervical cancer, and endometrial trophoblastic neoplasia) and two precursor lesions (premalignant lesions of the cervix and hydatidiform mole) on the mental health of affected women in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).

Background: Childbearing is a major concern for women living with HIV especially in low-middle income countries. There are fears about access to care, risk of vertical transmission, health challenges, maternal and child morbidity/mortality. Investigation of childbearing progression and its associated factors among these women will be useful for design of reproductive healthcare services of these women and ultimately address their multifaceted concerns.
