In this study, graphene oxide-carbon nanotube-magnetite (GO/CNT/FeO) nanocomposites were synthesized a co-precipitation method for wastewater treatment. The obtained results indicated that FeO nanoparticles exhibited a spherical-shaped morphology, with an average diameter of around 20 nm, and decorated the surface of GO and CNTs. In the present study, concentrations of 10 heavy metals (Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Cd and Pb) were determined in superficial sediments from 20 sites within the Bach Dang Estuary, Vietnam.
