Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the association between antimicrobial practices, including oral antibiotics, IV antibiotics, antifungal prophylaxis, and infection outcomes in patients undergoing primary or revision inflatable penile prosthesis surgery.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a multicenter, retrospective cohort study of 5261 patients who underwent primary or revision inflatable penile prosthesis surgery at 16 specialized centers across the United States, Europe, and Korea from July 2016 to July 2021. Patient data included demographic and clinical characteristics, antibiotic and antifungal administration, and infection outcomes.
Introduction And Objectives: Targeted radiofrequency (RF) therapy is a promising treatment for overactive bladder (OAB), aiming to modulate autonomic nerve pathways for symptom control. This cadaveric study focuses on identifying areas of high nerve density in the bladder and corresponding vaginal wall (AVW) to support RF use in a minimally invasive fashion throughout the anterior vaginal wall.
Methods: AVW samples were obtained from two cadaveric specimens (T1 & T2).
Background: Bladder cancer (BC) poses a significant health challenge in Egypt, constituting 16% of male cancers and resulting in over 7,900 deaths annually. Globally, BC stands as the tenth most prevalent cancer with an anticipated 72.8% rise in new cases by 2040.

Methods: All 24-hour urine collections for nephrolithiasis evaluated at our institution between 2004-2020 were retrospectively reviewed. Only the first, pretreatment Litholink urine collection per patient was included.
Background: Chronic scrotal pain (CSP) frequently persists following varicocelectomy, significantly impacting patients' quality of life and posing considerable therapeutic challenges. Recently, microsurgical denervation of the spermatic cord (MDSC) has emerged as a promising surgical alternative for managing CSP refractory to conventional varicocelectomy. This study evaluates the efficacy of MDSC as a treatment for CSP in patients who did not achieve symptomatic relief after varicocelectomy.

The outbreak represented the first sustained community transmission of mpox beyond West or Central Africa, with speculated causes including declining smallpox vaccination rates, increased international travel, expanding populations, and sexual interactions. This study aimed to assess the understanding and recognition of mpox among sexual medicine experts including the identification of pertained genital lesions.

Intralesional injection of collagenase Clostridium histolyticum (CCH) has emerged as a promising non-surgical treatment, though patients may experience complications and require multiple clinic visits.
Aim: This study aims to evaluate patient compliance with CCH therapy, compare outcomes between compliant and non-compliant groups, and identify reasons for non-compliance.
Introduction: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has witnessed significant growth in the field of medicine, leveraging machine learning, artificial neuron networks, and large language models. These technologies are effective in disease diagnosis, education, and prevention, while raising ethical concerns and potential challenges. However, their utility in sexual medicine remains relatively unexplored.

Aim: To assess the online search interest over time for penile enhancement modalities, analyze the trends, and explore any regional disparities in search patterns.
Methods: Google Trends data from June 18, 2018, to June 11, 2023, were utilized to analyze search interest for Penuma, penile implant, penile girth, Hyaluronic acid (HLA) injection, and penis injection.
Persistent urogenital sinus (PUGS) is a rare congenital anomaly resulting from disruptions in urogenital development during embryogenesis. Characterized by the confluence of the vaginal canal and urethra into a single channel, it poses diagnostic and management challenges, particularly in adult patients. Surgical correction remains the primary treatment at an early age, yet there are no universally accepted guidelines regarding treatment at later stages in life.

Aim: To assess the management of penile curvature correction in PD patients undergoing IPP procedures within a large multinational, multicenter cohort.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on PD patients treated with IPP by 11 experienced prosthetic surgeons.
Our article outlines a case study assessing the use of low-intensity shock wave therapy (LiSWT) for managing Hard Flaccid Syndrome (HFS). Given the absence of standardized treatments for HFS, LiSWT could serve as an additional tool in the treatment arsenal. The case involved a 36-year-old male presenting HFS, low libido, chronic pain, and erectile dysfunction.

Search trends for inflatable penile implants ranging from 2016 through 2023 were analyzed utilizing Google Trends. Associations between search trends and US Census Bureau data, including average household income and per capita income, were analyzed.

The relationship between MS and hypogonadism is complex and not fully understood, with recent evidence showing that hypogonadism may have a significant impact on the quality of life and disease progression of patients with MS.
Objectives: This review aims to provide an overview of the current knowledge regarding the relationship between MS and hypogonadism, including the mechanisms underlying this relationship; the effects of hypogonadism on patients with MS; and the potential benefits and drawbacks of testosterone replacement therapy for patients with MS and hypogonadism.
Background: Testosterone plays an important role in collagen metabolism, transforming growth factor-β1 expression, and wound healing, which are all critical factors in pathogenesis of Peyronie's disease. Some clinical studies have suggested an association between Peyronie's disease and hypogonadism.
Objective: We sought to investigate whether baseline total testosterone levels influence response to intralesional collagenase clostridium histolyticum in Peyronie's disease.

Implantation of penile prosthesis is considered when conservative measures fail or are unacceptable to patients' wishing treatment for erectile dysfunction. In the United States (US), inflatable penile prostheses are more often used than malleable penile prostheses (MPP). Outside the US, the reverse is true because third-party reimbursement is not available, and MPP is considerably cheaper.
