Introduction: Wound healing is a complex process encompassing four main stages: hemostasis, inflammation, cell proliferation, maturation, and differentiation. Timolol (TM) may influence these stages, particularly re-epithelialization. This study aims to evaluate the 1-month effects of timolol on acute surgical wounds in post-mammoplasty patients.

The aim of this case-control study was to investigate the role of phenotype (hair shape, thickness, and color) and demographic characteristics, including smoking history, in the development of androgenetic alopecia.
Methods: In this case-control study, participants were divided into two groups: patients diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia (case group) and individuals without hair loss (control group).

Burn scars are significant consequence of thermal burn injuries, causing cosmetic concerns and potentially leading to symptomatic discomfort or functional limitations; therefore, continuous adoption of novel methods is warranted to improve outcomes. This study aims to assess and compare the effectiveness, safety, and satisfaction of fractional CO2 laser treatment alone versus its combination with oral pentoxifylline at a dosage of 400 mg twice daily for four months in patients with hypertrophic/keloid burn scars. In a assessor and analyst blinded randomized controlled trial, patients with hypertrophic/keloidal thermal burn scars were allocated into two intervention groups.

To evaluate the efficacy and safety of pulsed dye laser (PDL) alone, the combination of PDL and botulinum toxin type A (BTA) injection, and the combination of PDL and triamcinolone injection in the treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids. In this three-arm, single-blind randomized controlled clinical trial, 10 patients over 18 years old with hypertrophic scars or keloids were enrolled. Each patient had at least 3 lesions, each measuring at least 10 × 10 square centimeters or 10 centimeters long.

We aimed to investigate and compare the efficacy of the combination of Erbium YAG (Er:YAG) laser and stromal vascular fraction (SVF), the combination of Er:YAG laser and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and Er:YAG laser plus saline in the treatment of SD.
Materials And Methods: In 12 participating patients with at least three lesions (36 lesions in total), each lesion was treated with an Er:YAG laser.

Background: The challenging management of melasma highlights the inadequacies of conventional therapies and their high risk of recurrence. Integrating microneedling for device-assisted drug delivery with tranexamic acid (TA), recognized for its melanin synthesis inhibition, presents a novel approach that warrants further investigation to fully assess its potential in enhancing melasma treatment efficacy.
Methods: Fifty moderate to severe melasma patients participated in this randomized outcome-assessor-blinded controlled trial.
Background: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of stromal vascular fraction (SVF), platelet rich plasma (PRP), and 1064-nm Q-switched Nd:YAG laser in reducing nanofat treated dark circles and wrinkles under the eyes.
Method: This study was a single-blinded randomized clinical trial conducted on patients with suborbital darkening under the eyes that randomly divided into control and case groups. In the control group, 15 patients were treated with one session of nanofat injection only, and five patients of each intervention groups received one session of nanofat+SVF injection, nanofat+PRP injection, and nanofat injection+Nd:YAG laser, respectively.

Background: Stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells derived from adipose tissue and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are among novel treatments for androgenetic alopecia (AGA). We aimed to investigate the effect of adding SVF to PRP and compare it to administering PRP injection alone.
Methods: Eighteen patients were randomly divided into two groups of nine.

Background: The appearance of skin scars is known as one of the main side effects of skin burns. Stromal vascular fraction (SVF), as a rich source of cell populations with tissue regeneration properties, plays an important role in the healing of skin lesions. Fractional CO lasers have occupied a special place in treating skin lesions, particularly skin scars, since their introduction.

Transplantation of skin grafts and surgical alternatives, including autologous transplantation of melanocyte-keratinocyte suspension, have also been suggested previously. This study is representing a case of previous skin graft transplantation, complaining of scar formation and discoloration on the transplanted segment.

Background And Objective: Many biological activities and pharmacological usages have been revealed for the species. The present study aimed to assess the beneficial effects of on removing skin dark spots in healthy individuals, which is an important cosmetic concern, especially in women.
Materials And Methods: This prospective, interventional before-after trial was conducted in 70 healthy individuals without any evidence of skin or systemic disorders who presented for consultation on removing skin darkening.
Background: Tranexamic acid is used to treat pigmented disorder in dermatology for a long time however there are limited data for effectiveness of tranexamic acid for rejuvenation and improvement of wrinkle. Here we want to find the effectiveness of tranexamic acid as mesotherapy in improvement of periorbital wrinkle in a clinical trial study.
Methods: Patients with melasma who were treated with 4 session of tranexamic acid mesotherapy at intervals on 1 week were evaluated with Visioface device before starting and 1 month after last course of treatment.

Female pattern hair loss (FPHL) is a hereditary form of hair loss in women and the most common patterned progressive hair loss in female patients with androgenetic alopecia (AGA). One of the best methods for treating hair loss in women is the finasteride treatment. This systematic review includes a summary of the pharmacology of finasteride and the effect of the drug on women, especially those in the menopausal age group, and is aimed at elucidating methods of preventing systematic side effects.

Background: Acne is the most common skin disorder which is known as a chronic inflammatory disease with psychological burden and reduced quality of life. Adipose tissue-derived stromal vascular fraction (SVF) is recognized as a source of regenerative cells and improves the quality of skin by increasing collagen content. To date, a few studies have been performed on the therapeutic role of SVF in the treatment of acne scars.
