OsMATE7-mediated flavonol accumulation regulates pollen tube growth in rice.

Flavonols have been implicated in male sterility and pollen tube growth for over three decades; however, the molecular mechanisms mediating their accumulation in pollen grains remain poorly understood. In this study, a multidrug and toxic compound extrusion (MATE) transporter, OsMATE7, was identified as a key regulator of flavonol accumulation in mature pollen grains, thereby promoting pollen tube growth in rice (Oryza sativa). Mutation of OsMATE7 resulted in a significant reduction in seed setting rates.

Methods: Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were screened using the GSE106680, GSE97537, and GSE61616 datasets, and hub genes were identified through construction of protein-protein interaction networks.

Object: The treatment results of combination of arterial injection of tirofiban with endovascular therapy (EVT) for acute large vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke due to intracranial atherosclerotic disease (ICAD) were inconsistent. This meta-analysis aims to assess the safety and efficacy of ICAD-LVO treatment by intra-arterial injection of tirofiban combined with EVT.

Methods: Relevant studies were identified through a systematic literature search in Pubmed, EMBASE, Web of Science and Cochrane Library databases, covering articles published from January 2010 to July 2024.

Object: The use of endovascular therapy (EVT) has become a widespread strategy for the clinical management of acute ischemic stroke (AIS). However, the combination of arterial injection of tirofiban with EVT for AIS continues to be a subject of controversy. This meta-analysis was conducted to assess the safety and efficacy of this treatment approach.

[One case report of primary sphenoid sinus tuberculosis].

We report a case of primary sinonasal tuberculosis in a 23-year old man. He had a half-year history of headache and eye pain on the left side, and found the neoplasm of nasopharynx 15 days ago. Previously denied history of tuberculosis and contact history.
