Breast cancer, a highly heterogeneous disease at both the phenotypic and molecular levels, presents significant challenges for prognosis and treatment. Accurate subtyping of breast cancer is critical due to its complex biological characteristics, which directly influence disease progression and therapeutic outcomes. In this study, we integrate multi-omics data, including copy number variation, RNA sequencing and DNA methylation, to generate two-dimensional representations of each sample using Uniform Manifold Approximation and Projection.

Background: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) are common chronic liver diseases worldwide, both of which are closely associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Atherogenic index of plasma (AIP), as a biomarker of dyslipidemia, may predict CVD risk and mortality in these patients, but its specific role in patients with NAFLD and MASLD has not been studied in detail. Other studies found, however, that neural responses induced by single 40 Hz auditory stimulation were relatively weak. To address this, we included several new experimental conditions (sounds with sinusoidal or square wave; open-eye and closed-eye state) combined with auditory stimulation with the aim of investigating which of these induces a stronger 40 Hz neural response.

Novel ginsenoside derivatives induce apoptosis in HepG-2 cells via the MDM2-p53 signaling pathway.

In this study, 6-aryl-5-cyanopyrimidines and quinazolinones were introduced into panaxadiol (PD) to synthesize 25 new panaxadiol derivatives. The cytotoxicity of these compounds against three cancer cells and one normal cell was examined by methylthiazoletetrazolium (MTT) cytotoxicity experiment. The findings demonstrated that PD cyanopyrimidine derivatives have superior anti-proliferative effects over quinazoline derivatives.
