This report details a case of chronic osteomyelitis with a pathological femur fracture in a 79-year-old woman. Despite a history of bone tuberculosis, the infection was identified as through culture and mass spectrometry, highlighting the diagnostic challenges due to the organism's lack of a cell wall.

Objective: This study evaluates the utility of serum s-αKlotho levels as a quantifiable biomarker for overwork.
Methods: Frontline medical workers aged 20-55 years from Yiling People's Hospital of Yichang were recruited. Criteria included nonsmokers, non-heavy drinkers, no chronic medication use, and no acute illnesses recently.
Objective: To investigate the proliferation and cytokine expression of Auricularia auricula polysaccharide (AAP) on peripheral blood monnuclear cells (PBMCs) in vitro.
Methods: AAP was obtained by water extraction and alcohol precipitation, and purified by DEAE-cellulose chromatogram. PBMCs were treated with AAP at different levels.
