Background: Pediatric laparoscopic surgery often induces atelectasis due to pneumoperitoneum, postural changes, and immature respiratory physiology, increasing postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs). Fixed PEEP may fail to address perioperative variability. This study evaluated whether dynamic PEEP adjustment reduces atelectasis and improves oxygenation.

This study aimed to develop a novel BG-based root canal sealer for endodontics.
Materials And Methods: The novel BG-based root canal sealer was composed of phytic acid derived bioactive calcium phosphosilicate glass named PSC mixed with zirconium oxide (ZrO) as powder, and phosphate solution (PS) dissolved with sodium alginate (SA) named PS-SA as liquid.
The secondary laticifer in the secondary phloem of rubber tree are a specific tissue differentiating from vascular cambia. The number of the secondary laticifers is closely related to the rubber productivity of Hevea. Factors involved in the mechanical wounding-induced laticifer differentiation were analyzed by using paraffin section, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and Northern-blot techniques.
