This is the case of a healthy 10-year-old girl presenting to the pediatric otolaryngology clinic for an incidental finding of a 20 mm dilatation within the left posterior fossa on brain computed tomography done for evaluation of left retro-auricular pain. Comprehensive audiometry showed left sensorineural hearing loss at low frequencies. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a cystic lesion along the posterior aspect of the left temporal bone with normal inner ear anatomy consistent with an enlarged endolymphatic sac anomaly.

Objectives: To evaluate factors affecting the delay in head and neck cancer (HNC) diagnosis in Lebanon.
Methods: Patients with HNC presenting between August 1, 2023, and August 1, 2024, to the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) were recruited. A questionnaire was administered to characterize the demographic, socioeconomic, and clinical factors affecting their cancer diagnosis, and their charts were reviewed retrospectively for their cancer demographics and to account for any discrepancies.
Objective: The aim of this pilot study is to compare the effectiveness of office-based blue laser therapy with coblation therapy in patients with inferior turbinate hypertrophy (ITH).
Study Design: Retrospective chart review.

Introduction: The link between nasal obstruction and muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) has not been previously investigated despite the well-established relationship between respiratory and voice disorders. The aim of this study was to examine the prevalence of nasal obstruction and sinonasal symptoms in patients with primary MTD.
Methods: Patients presenting to the Voice Unit at a tertiary referral center between July 2022 and October 2023 and diagnosed with primary MTD were recruited.
Objective: This study aims to compare research productivity and barriers to research between high-income countries (HICs) and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) otolaryngologists.
Study Design: Cross-sectional survey.

Objective: To investigate the impact of music on patient tolerance during office-based laryngeal surgery (OBLS).
Methods: All patients undergoing OBLS between February 2024 to June 2024 were invited to participate in this study. They were divided into two subgroups, those with music in the background during surgery and those without.
Purpose: To investigate the risk of swallowing disorders and the frequency and intensity of vocal tract symptoms in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyposis (CRSwNP).
Methods: Adult patients diagnosed with CRSwNP presenting to the rhinology clinic of a tertiary referral center between March 2023 and March 2024, were recruited. Patients with acute or recent history of respiratory tract infections, tonsillitis, pharyngitis or otitis, were excluded.
Objective: Bilateral vocal fold paralysis can be a disabling condition with an adverse impact on quality of life. Various glottal widening procedures to secure the airway have been described. Purpose: To investigate the subjective effect of office-based blue laser therapy for inferior turbinate hypertrophy in patients with nasal obstruction.
Methods: Patients with nasal obstruction who underwent office-based blue laser for the inferior turbinate hypertrophy between October 2022 and December 2023 were included in the study. The two outcome measures used to gauge the improvement in nasal obstruction and success of surgery were the Nasal Obstruction Symptom Evaluation (NOSE) scale and the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).

Objective: To investigate the sensitivity of laryngeal findings in predicting high-grade dysplasia/carcinoma in situ (CIS) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in patients with vocal fold leukoplakia.

Spontaneous oropharyngeal bleeding is an uncommon but serious medical emergency mainly caused by accidental trauma or post-tonsillectomy. In extremely rare cases, it can be attributed to arterial pseudoaneurysm (PA) of head and neck vessels. The authors present the case of a young female patient presenting with recurring spontaneous oropharyngeal bleeding who was found to have a lingual artery PA on angiography.
