Effect of Mandala Art Therapy on Quality of Life in Breast Cancer Patients.

Objective: Cancer diagnosis and treatment tends to negatively impact a person's Quality of Life (QoL). Art therapy can serve as a complementary measure to oncology care. This study aimed to examine the effect of mandala art therapy on the QoL of breast cancer patients.

The patterns and spectrum of BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations in Iranian breast and ovarian cancer patients.

Women with inherited BRCA1/2 mutations are at increased risk of breast and ovarian cancer. The reports on the prevalence and spectrum of these mutations have been primarily focused on individuals with European ancestry. A previous study on Iranian breast cancer patients reported no BRCA1/2 mutation in early-onset breast cancer with no other criteria, which is contrary to other populations.

Currently, (186)Re-HEDP is most commonly used in European countries. The aim of this study was to investigate the palliative efficacy and adverse effects of (186)Re-HEDP in patients with different types of cancers and skeletal bone pain.
