Febrile neutropenia (FN) is one of the most important clinical signs of infection, especially for older patients with indolent B cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas (iBC-NHLs) receiving frontline immune-chemotherapy with bendamustine-rituximab (BR). Data on the optimal strategy for infection prophylaxis from the start of chemotherapy until 1 month after the last cycle is scanty in this setting of patients, and for this reason, we carried out a multicentric retrospective study on vigorous primary anti-infectious prophylaxis consisting of lipegfilgrastim, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, and acyclovir. From January 2017 to January 2022, 200 patients met the inclusion criteria and were enrolled in the final analysis.

In this retrospective study (2013-2023) conducted in tertiary hospitals in the bay of Naples (Italy), 50 older adults (median age, 69 years; range, 60-89) with advanced stage c-HL received frontline treatment with MVD ± irradiation. MVD consisted of 25 mg/m of NPLD along with standard Vinblastine and Dacarbazine for a total of 6 cycles (twelve iv administrations, every 2 weeks) followed by radiation of RNMs with size ≥ 2.

Best response was observed after a median of 4 cycles in 140 patients (59.

Mesoporous TiO2 electrodes sensitized with complex 1, under 1 sun illumination (420 nm cut-off filter) and a moderate applied bias (0.3 V vs.

Under visible irradiation (λ > 435 nm), the excited state of 1 underwent oxidative quenching by electron injection (kinj > 10(8) s(-1)) to WO3, leaving a strongly positive hole (Eox ≈ 1.7 V vs SCE), which allows to drive demanding photo-oxidation reactions in photoelectrochemical cells (PECs).
