Recently, LiTiO has emerged as a potential alternative to graphite for automotive battery anodes. However, gas production in LTO batteries, which results in battery expansion, is a significant concern. This study employed sucrose as the carbon source.

Rare earth clusters have demonstrated promising application prospects, owing to their distinctive topological structures and electronic configurations. Herein, two novel Ln (Ln = Dy and Gd) clusters were synthesized using 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde and 1,1-di(hydroxymethyl)ethylamine, along with Dy(ClO)·10HO and Gd(ClO)·10HO, respectively named as [Dy(L)(μ-OH)(HO)]Cl·4EtOH·2CHCN·5HO (1) and [Gd(L)(μ-OH)(HO)]Cl·5EtOH·5CHCN·11HO (2). The single crystal X-ray diffraction results indicated that clusters 1 and 2 possessed highly stable co-vertex double triangular metal skeletons, in which the Ln spin centers form a triangular [LnO] cluster via μ-OH.

Surface modification is a highly effective strategy for addressing issues in lithium-rich layered oxide (LLO) cathodes, including phase transformation, particle cracking, oxygen gas release, and transition-metal ion dissolution. Existing single-/double-layer coating strategies face drawbacks such as poor component contact and complexity. Herein, we present the results of a low-temperature atomic layer deposition (ALD) process for creating a TiO/AlO bilayer on composite cathodes made of AS200 (LiNiCoMnO).

Acute lung injury in children is a complication showing devastating disorders linked to fibrosis progression and inflammation response. Fibrosis and inflammation response are two markers for acute lung injury. Juglanin is a natural product mainly isolated from green walnut husks of Juglans mandshurica, which isconsidered as the functional composition among a series of compounds.
