Unlabelled: Inadvertent displacement of tooth fragments into the maxillary sinus is a known complication of dental extraction that can be managed instantaneously or soon thereafter through conventional techniques like Caldwell-Luc, alveolar crestal, and lateral approaches. However, if the event remains unidentified or ignored, recalcitrant sinus infection and intra-sinus tooth migration may result. The situation can then be difficult to investigate and treat.

This condition is part of the chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO)/synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, and osteomyelitis (SAPHO) spectrum. However, because mandibular involvement may present as unifocal disease, it deserves special attention.

Introduction: Sarcomas are malignant neoplasms constituting an important group of tumours due to their high morbidity and mortality. They can arise either from soft tissue or bone. Soft tissue sarcomas are common, but bone sarcomas are rare.

Background: Children are uniquely susceptible to craniofacial trauma because of their greater cranial mass-to-body ratio. The craniofacial injuries comprise approximately 11.3% of an overall pediatric emergency, and its etiology affects the incidence, clinical presentation, and treatment modalities, which are influenced by sociodemographic, economic, and cultural factor of the population being studied.

This study was planned to evaluate the improvement in mandibular function, facial esthetics and quality of life after reconstruction of complex mandibular defects using patient-specific three-dimensional (3D) titanium implant. A total of 7 patients, who visited our outpatient clinic for reconstruction of mandibular defects after removal of their primary mandibular lesion and refused treatment with autologous bone grafts were treated with patient-specific implant for reconstruction of mandible. Three-dimensional virtual treatment planning was carried out using their 3D computed-tomographic data.

Addition of mesenchymal bone marrow stem cell in osteoconductive alloplastic bone makes it osteoinductive and osteogenic. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of bone marrow aspirate in regenerating new bone with hydroxyapatite collagen scaffold in patients with large cystic maxillofacial defects.

Purpose: The optimal treatment for adult mandibular condylar fractures (MCFs) has largely shifted in favor of open reduction and rigid internal fixation. However, a sizeable portion of these injuries are still being treated in a closed manner based on old literature, convenience, results deemed acceptable, and lesser associated morbidity. Most MCFs with multiple associated facial traumas are appropriately treated under general anesthesia (GA).

Since almost all of these patients receive chemo-radiotherapy with or without surgery for treatment, a vast majority of them also develop oral mucositis, a debilitating adverse effect of chemo-radiation. There have been various reports in the literature regarding the beneficial role of honey in the management of oral mucositis.

Aim: Purpose of this case report is to highlight the precision and accuracy obtained with patient specific implants for orbital reconstruction designed on the basis of volumetric analysis of orbital computed tomographic scan (CT) scans using virtual planning, computerised designing and manufacturing and stereolithographic models to correct late post-traumatic orbital deformities such as enophthalmos and diplopia.
Material And Methods: This case report describes a patient who visited our outpatient clinic for correction of enophthalmos and persistent diplopia in upward gaze, seven months post trauma. Three dimensional (3D) virtual treatment planning was carried out by using the 3D CT data.

Purpose: This study was designed with the aim to assess the efficiency of hydroxyapatite/collagen (HA/Col) bio-scaffold with bone marrow aspirate (BMA) to reconstruct mandibular condyle in patients with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) ankylosis.
Materials And Methods: Seven pediatric patients with TMJ ankylosis, who visited our outpatient clinic and whose parents opted for this procedure, were included in this study. After a history and clinical examination for TMJ movements, computed tomography (CT) scans were obtained.
Aim: The aim is to review the English literature for post-traumatic superolateral dislocation of mandibular condyle (SDMC),discuss their dynamics and clinical management and to propose to modify the existing classification of SDMC.
Patients And Methods: A literature search was carried at Pubmed, Sciencedirect, Google and references from reported articles were crosschecked to look for the cases of SDMC from 1969 to 2015 in English language. Also, we have reviewed 11 of our patients with total of 18 superolateral dislocated intact or sagittal split condyles ,who visited our unit in the previous two years.

Facial asymmetry is one of the commonest facial anomalies, with reported incidence as high as 34%. Hemifacial microsomia (HFM) has an incidence of 1 in every 4000-5600 children and is one of the commonest causes of facial asymmetry. The standard treatment of HFM is orthognathic surgery by bilateral saggital split osteotomy (BSSO) or distraction osteogenesis (DO) of the mandible, both of which involve prolonged periods of occlusal adjustments by an orthodontist.
