Purpose: This study compares the concomitant intra- and extra-articular pathologies in patients undergoing primary anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) to their subsequent single or 2-stage revision ACLR.
Methods: Patients from 2012 to 2021 with minimum two-year follow-up after single-stage revision ACLR were matched with patients who underwent 2-stage revision ACLR by age, sex, and body mass index. Concomitant pathologies and procedures were compared from primary to single or 2-stage revision ACLR.
Improving the safety profile of total ankle arthroplasty (TAA) is essential to expand its indications and global use. Identifying risk factors for complications can enhance preoperative patient optimization and surgical decision-making. While longer surgical times are known to increase perioperative risks in many orthopedic procedures, this has not been extensively studied in TAA.

Background: Interscalene nerve blocks (ISNBs) reduce length of stay, postoperative pain, and opioid consumption following arthroscopic rotator cuff repair (ARCR). ISNBs with anesthetic agents like bupivacaine are associated with intense rebound pain, while liposomal bupivacaine (LB) can potentially extend pain relief up to 72 h and reduce opioid consumption. Purpose: To assess the relationship between the presence, depth, and location of the lateral femoral notch sign (LFNS) on preoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and the risk of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) graft failure, as well as secondary return to sport (RTS) endpoints.
Methods: Patients with primary ACLR failure between 2012 and 2021 were identified and matched to patients without primary ACLR failure by sex, age, and body mass index. Patients with incomplete medical records, inadequate follow-up, or concomitant lateral extra-articular tenodesis or anterolateral ligament reconstruction were excluded.
