Pharmacist-led transitions of care (TOC) services decrease preventable hospital readmission. TOC service implementation assessment can inform translation to real-world settings. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of a TOC service for patients with multiple admissions at a regional hospital using the RE-AIM framework.

Forested watersheds are instrumental in providing purified and reliable water to millions of people worldwide. The changing climate has increased the frequency and severity of global fire events. Forested watersheds and their ecosystem functions are greatly disrupted during fire activity.

A prescription for determining the nondegenerate three-photon absorption spectrum of zinc-blende semiconductors is presented. Theoretical calculations based on third-order perturbation theory and Kane's band structure provide the nondegenerate three-photon absorption coefficient for any combination of photon energies and polarizations. The enhancement over three orders of magnitude is predicted when using extremely nondegenerate photon energies, which is greater than that predicted with two-photon absorption.

In the last years, more satellites with microwave imagers have been launched, making more observations available to obtain soil moisture estimates globally. China's endeavour has resulted in the launch of the FengYun (FY) passive microwave observations (FY-3B, C, D) capable of filling in global soil moisture data gaps. In this study, we develop a merged soil moisture dataset at a spatial resolution of 0.

All eukaryotes utilize regulated secretion to release molecular signals packaged in secretory granules for local and remote signaling. An anion shunt conductance was first suggested in secretory granules of bovine chromaffin cells nearly five decades ago. Biochemical identity of this conductance remains undefined.
