The aging process is associated with a decrease in cardiorespiratory endurance. The profile of changes in hemodynamic parameters, respiratory and metabolic profile during cardiopulmonary exercise testing in the elderly can identify patients with subclinical forms of diseases. It is necessary to develop a standardized approach to the interpretation of parameters that can serve as diagnostic signs of an abnormal response of physiological parameters to physical activity and have optimal prognostic and differential diagnostic value.

Materials And Methods: We made the immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis of epiphysis tissues from autopsies of 25 men aged 32-44 with PCVP and metabolic syndrome (MS) who had died as a result of ischemic cardiomyopathy (IC) and 25 persons after the car accident as a control group. Then, 93 young men aged 35-44 with PCVP, metabolic syndrome, and depressive spectrum disorders (DSD) were divided into three groups: (1) standard therapy; (2) standard therapy and psychotherapy sessions; (3) standard therapy in combination with psychotherapeutic and psychophysiological visual and auditory correction sessions.
Cardiopulmonary exercise testing is a diagnostic method, which can be used for oncological patients. It shows its perspectives in measuring reserve capacity of the human organism, determining the risk of postoperative complications, and long-term prognosis. The method is also useful for optimization of rehabilitation measures, which is actual for polymorbid aged patients.
