Objective: Evaluation of the comparative efficacy and safety of ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate therapy with Mexidol, solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration, 50 mg/ml, and Mexidol FORTE 250, film-coated tablets, 250 mg, during their sequential use in patients in the acute and early recovery periods of ischemic stroke (IS) compared to placebo.
Material And Methods: The clinical trial was conducted as a prospective international multicenter randomized double-blind placebo-controlled parallel-group trial. Data from the randomized patients in the acute and early recovery periods of ischemic stroke were collected at 4 visits.

Introduction: Ischemic stroke (IS) remains a serious medical and social issue due to its high prevalence, mortality, and resulting disability. Reperfusion therapy is an effective method of treating patients with IS.
Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the results of implementation of reperfusion technologies for the treatment of IS in the Russian Federation.
Adipose tissue is a central organiser of systemic lipid homeostasis and a pharmacological target in obesity, orchestrating cellular responses to environmental cues. Nutritionally regulated adipose and cardiac enriched protein (NRAC) is a small adipocyte-specific transmembrane protein with unknown function. Here, we show that Nrac directly interacts with scavenger receptor CD36 via its first transmembrane domain.

Objective: To evaluate the effects of Cerebrolysin on brain microstructural integrity and blood-brain barrier (BBB) permeability, as well as their longitudinal changes, using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and perfusion computed tomography (PCT) in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS).
Material And Methods: This analysis included patients from the multimodal brain imaging subgroup of the prospective CEREHETIS trial (ISRCTN87656744) with AIS in the middle cerebral artery territory. The intervention group (IG, 16) received Cerebrolysin in combination with intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) and standard care, while the control group (CG, 17) received IVT and standard care alone.
