Unlabelled: Nasal glial heterotopia (nasal glioma) is a rare congenital benign accumulation of glial tissue displaced into the nasal cavity or paranasal sinuses.

Objective: To analyze our own clinical cases of nasal glioma (features of the clinic, diagnosis and treatment) and compare them with data from foreign literature.

Material And Methods: A retrospective review of medical histories with a diagnosis of nasal glial heterotopia was conducted from 2017 to November 2023 at the pediatric otorhinolaryngological department of the National Medical Research Center for Otorhinolaryngology.

Ecotoxicological studies predominantly rely on artificially contaminated soils and fieldwork on contaminated soils remains scarce. This study focuses on the Kargaly site in the Orenburg region near the southern Urals, where a rare instance of monometallic soil pollution has occurred with copper (Cu). We established Cu toxicity thresholds for Dendrobaena veneta, a European nightcrawler, using soils collected along a Cu toxicity gradient (total Cu content of 121-10,200 mg kg-1) in a chernozem (Mollisol) agricultural field.

Disorders of consciousness (DoC) remain a significant challenge in neurology, with traditional brain stimulation therapies showing limited and inconsistent efficacy across patients. This study presents a novel computational approach grounded in neural field theory for constructing personalized stimulus signals designed to induce healthy-like neural activity patterns in individuals with DoC.We employ a simplified brain model fitted to the electroencephalogram (EEG) power spectrum of a DoC patient, simulating the individual's neural dynamics.

The Tenth International brain-computer interface (BCI) meeting was held June 6-9, 2023, in the Sonian Forest in Brussels, Belgium. At that meeting, 21 master classes, organized by the BCI Society's Postdoc & Student Committee, supported the Society's goal of fostering learning opportunities and meaningful interactions for trainees in BCI-related fields. Master classes provide an informal environment where senior researchers can give constructive feedback to the trainee on their chosen and specific pursuit.
