Neuroinflammation contributes to cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD), and the neurokinin pathway has been implicated in the pathophysiology of AD. Although Substance P (SP), an endogenous ligand to the neurokinin 1 receptor (NK1R), is primarily known as a neurotransmitter, but emerging evidence indicates it has shown both pro and anti-inflammatory actions. However, the dose-dependent nature of the SP-NK1R axis's functional role remains to be fully elucidated.

Background: The formation of apical debris is a common occurrence during root canal preparation, which may cause postoperative complications like pain and infection. Different file motions-rotary, reciprocating, and adaptive-can influence the extent of debris extrusion.
Materials And Methods: A total of 90 extracted single-rooted teeth were randomly divided into three groups ( = 30) based on the file motion used: Group 1-rotary, Group 2-reciprocating, and Group 3-adaptive motion.
Introduction: The RESTORE trial was the first randomized controlled trial comparing two systems of medicine in stroke. The trial studied about the safety and efficacy of ayurvedic rehabilitative treatment in comparison with conventional physiotherapy in stroke rehabilitation across North and South India. The results showed that ayurvedic rehabilitative treatment was not superior to conventional physiotherapy for improving sensorimotor recovery in ischemic stroke patients, but it was safe to use.
