Background: Proximal femoral malunions with implants in-situ pose a significant challenge for pre-operative planning due to the obstruction of key anatomical landmarks. Existing planning software, while advanced, is often limited by cost, accessibility and a lack of functionality for digital implant removal. The main objective is to introduce a novel, low-cost and accessible two-step digital method for planning deformity correction using Picsart and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Aims: (1) To compare uterine flora in elective and non-elective caesarean section.
Background: The global prevalence of type 2 diabetes (T2D) continues to rise, with dietary patterns recognized as a major contributing factor in its development. The Dietary Obesity-Prevention Score (DOS) is a validated tool designed to evaluate adherence to dietary behaviors associated with obesity prevention. This case-control study aimed to examine the association between adherence to the DOS and the risk of developing T2D.

LSD1 (KDM1A) inhibitors reduce symptoms and clonal burden in MPN, but whether these compounds may be effective in advanced disease stages remained so far elusive. Using a chromatin-focused CRISPR-Cas9 screen, we identified the histone methyltransferase DOT1L as a synthetic lethal target under pharmacologic LSD1 inhibition.

To investigate how host-specific protein-protein interactions (PPIs) influence infection, we generated comparative PPI maps for SARS-CoV-2 and its bat-origin relative RaTG13 using affinity purification-mass spectrometry (AP-MS) in human and (RFe) bat cells. This approach identified both conserved and virus- and host-specific interactions that regulate infection dynamics.
