Patient Concerns: A 48-year-old female patient presented with a headache in the frontal part for 3 weeks.

Diagnoses: Cerebral computed tomographic angiography and magnetic resonance angiography showed a saccular aneurysm in the right internal carotid artery that wrapped the parent artery.

Methods: Serum SUR1 levels of 131 ICH patients and 131 healthy controls were quantified in this prospective, observational study.
