Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the incidence trends and melanoma presentations based on age, sex, race, and ethnicity using a large cohort of diagnoses from 1997 to 2020.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study was completed using the National Childhood Cancer Registry from 1997 to 2020.

- This report describes the first documented human case of a specific fungal mold found in a 7-year-old boy with chronic granulomatous disease, isolated from a lung nodule.
- The mold was identified at a national reference lab, which also had 17 other respiratory samples test positive for the same organism between 2013 and 2021.
- While the best treatment for this infection is still unclear, azoles and amphotericin B showed effectiveness against the isolates tested.
