Purpose: To prospectively evaluate patient and clinician reported outcomes of sexual function and health-related quality of life (QOL) of transgender women preoperatively (t0), 6 months (t1), and 12 months (t2) after gender-affirming surgery (GAS) with penile inversion vaginoplasty.
Methods: Transgender women undergoing two-stage GAS at our tertiary care center were included (04/2019-01/2023). Patients received a composed questionnaire including a validated questionnaire (SF-12).
Synchronous fluctuations in species' abundance are influenced by synchrony in underlying rates of productivity and survival. However, it remains unclear how rate synchrony varies in space and time, contributes to abundance synchrony, and differs among species. Using long-term annual count (number of adults captured), adult survival and productivity (number of juveniles captured per adult) data for breeding land-birds at ringing sites across Europe, we show that synchrony is strongest and largest scale in productivity and weakest and smallest scale in counts.

Methods: All consecutive patients treated with radical cystectomy at a tertiary care university center were included from a prospectively maintained database.
Background: Thromboembolic complications are well known in the treatment of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Over the years it has not been possible to reach a consensus on a possible prophylaxis of thromboembolic events during intensive therapy. Only the administration of enoxaparin was able to achieve evidence in the literature to date.

A quantum game is constructed from a sequence of independent and identically polarised spin-1/2 particles. Information about their possible polarisation is provided to a bettor, who can wager in successive double-or-nothing games on measurement outcomes. The choice at each stage is how much to bet and in which direction to measure the individual particles.
