Background And Objective: Float nurses are frequently assigned to unfamiliar settings where they must perform a wide range of tasks, often without prior orientation, specific training, or knowledge of local protocols and equipment. Given the widespread use of floating as a staffing strategy, it is essential to allocate resources that support their integration while prioritising patient safety. This study aimed to develop a self-administered Integration Checklist for float nurses, highlighting key aspects to address before delivering direct patient care.

Twelve LYRM proteins were described in humans. They are involved in core mitochondrial processes as subunits or assembly/stabilising factors of mitochondrial complexes.

Implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation offers a reliable solution to restore function, though factors such as bone reconstruction, radiotherapy, and timing of implant placement (immediate vs. delayed) may influence outcomes.

Methods: We analysed the clinical information collected in a prospective registry of consecutive patients with ATTR-CM treated in 7 Spanish hospitals from January 1st, 2018 to October 31st, 2024. Baseline serum transthyretin was correlated by means of multivariable Cox´s regression with long-term clinical outcomes death from any cause and the combined endpoint death from any cause or heart failure (HF) hospitalization.
This preliminary case series aimed to evaluate the clinical and morphometric outcomes of maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) surgery in patients with severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) using virtual surgical planning (VSP), patient-specific cutting guides, and customized titanium plates. Primary outcomes included changes in the Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI), airway dimensions, surgical accuracy, and quality of life. : In this preliminary case series, six patients with severe OSA underwent MMA surgery planned using three-dimensional VSP, and executed with the aid of CAD-/CAM-generated surgical guides and patient-specific osteosynthesis.
