This study presents metabolome profiling of milk-derived exosomes (MDE) from cows of different genetic origins that is Sahiwal (Bos indicus), Holstein Friesian (Bos taurus) and Karan Fries (crossbred: cross of Bos indicus and Bos taurus) using H NMR spectroscopy. Diverse arrays of 41 metabolites were identified in all MDE groups. Comparative profiling across the three MDE groups revealed 16 metabolites to be differentially abundant (p < 0.

The astrocytopathy is considered one of the prominent etiological factor in the pathophysiology of demyelination in MS. The expression level of ceramide synthase-2 (CS-2) is yet to be established in the pathophysiology of astrocytopathy although the derailed ceramide biosynthetic pathways is well demonstrated in the pathophysiology of demyelination.

To gain a deeper understanding of the selective footprints in the genomes of Ladakhi and Sahiwal cattle, two strategies namely run of homozygosity (ROH), and fixation index (F) were employed. A total of 975 and 1189 ROH regions were identified in Ladakhi and Sahiwal cattle, respectively.
