Herein, tungsten-doped nickel titanate (WNiTiO3) nanoparticles are synthesized using hydrothermal route and investigated physicochemical and gas sensing properties. The effect of W-dopant concentrations on the physicochemical and electrical characteristics of NiTiO3 is systematically investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed a consistent decrease in crystallite size, accompanied by an increase in dislocation density and micro-strain with higher W doping levels.

Lanthanum oxide (LaO) nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized via a green co-precipitation method using Coleus barbatus leaf extract as a reducing and capping agent, with CTAB as a stabilizer. X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirmed a hexagonal polycrystalline structure with an average crystallite size of 16 nm, further supported by Raman spectroscopy. Calcination temperature played a critical role: at 600 °C, incomplete precursor decomposition was observed, while 800 °C treatments led to oxygen vacancies and peak broadening.

Herein, we report the anti-malarial, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory activities of the NO donor tetradentate salen type ligand and its CoL, NiL, and CuL metal complexes. The synthesized compounds were characterized by various spectroscopic analytical methods. The in-vitro anti-malarial investigations revealed that the complex CuL exhibited equipotency with quinine drug having IC value 0.

Currently, plant extract-mediated synthesized metal oxide nanoparticles (MO NPs) have played a substantial role in biological applications. Hence, this study focused on the eco-benign one-pot synthesis of bimetallic ZnO-CuO nanoparticles (ZC NPs) using the leaf extract of (LEAA) and evaluations of their anticancer, antioxidant, and molecular binding efficacy. The optical absorption peak at 380 nm from UV-visible (UV-vis) analysis revealed the formation of ZC NPs.

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a highly-aggressive, dreadful disease with poor prognosis and disappointing clinical success. There is an unmet medical need of molecularly-targeted therapeutics for GBM treatment. In the present work, a series of novel 2-phenyl-substituted 4-amino-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopenta[d]pyrimidines was designed, synthesized, purified, characterized, and evaluated for cytotoxicity against glioblastoma cell line U87-MG.

Piper longum (family Piperaceae), commonly known as "long-pepper" or "Pippali" grows as a perennial shrub or as an herbaceous vine. It is native to the Indo-Malaya region and widely distributed in the tropical and subtropical world including the Indian subcontinent, Sri Lanka, Middle-East, and America. The fruits are mostly used as culinary spice and preservatives and are also a potent remedy in various traditional medicinal systems against bronchitis, cough, cold, snakebite, and scorpion-sting and are also used as a contraceptive.
