Symptoms of bleeding caused by vitamin K-dependent coagulation factor deficiency (VKCFD) are rare in adults. We present two Japanese cases of adult-onset VKCFD, in which the cause of vitamin K deficiency remains unknown despite comprehensive evaluation. Both patients showed markedly decreased levels of coagulation factors (F) VII, FIX, FX, FII, protein C (PC), and protein S (PS), along with elevated levels of protein induced by vitamin K absence/antagonist II (PIVKA-II).

We herein report two cases of immunotactoid glomerulopathy (ITG) associated with multiple myeloma treated with daratumumab-based regimens. The first patient was an 81-year-old woman with severe renal insufficiency and IgAκ multiple myeloma (MM) that progressed to end-stage renal disease despite administering daratumumab-based therapy. The second patient, a 69-year-old man with smoldering MM, showed a favorable response to daratumumab-based treatment, with a resolution of nephrotic proteinuria.

Therefore, in this study, we examined changes in socioeconomic inequalities in school-aged adolescents' health behaviours, including physical activity (PA), screen time (ST), sleep duration, breakfast consumption, and bowel movement frequency, before and after the pandemic.
Methods: This three-wave repeated cross-sectional study utilised data from the 2019, 2021, and 2023 National Sports-Life Survey of Children and Young People in Japan, analysing data from 766, 725, and 604 participants aged 12-18 years, respectively.

Several approaches for synthesizing [1-C]2-oxoglutaric acid were attempted, and the synthesis was successfully achieved in 4 steps from trimethylsilyl C-cyanide. The C-breath tests on rats were conducted by orally administering the newly synthesized [1-C]2-oxoglutaric acid, the previously prepared [1'-C]citric acid, and [1-C]acetic acid as a control drug, and the results were compared. The results indicate that [1-C]2-oxoglutaric acid and [1'-C]citric acid may serve as potential substrates for assessing the TCA cycle flux.
