Background: The growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) in health care raises concern, as nursing students are not adequately educated on its use in practice. This study evaluated the effect of an AI education module on undergraduate nursing students' AI literacy and anxiety.
Method: Students completed surveys measuring AI literacy and anxiety before and after the module, which included videos, articles, a presentation, and an assignment using ChatGPT.
Background: To help reduce mental health disparities in the transgender and gender diverse (TGD) population, there is a need to equip future psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) with affirming care competence.
Method: This study evaluated a multimodal education program that combined eLearning with two virtual standardized patient (SP) simulations to teach PMHNP students to provide affirming mental health care to TGD people.
Results: Slight increases in knowledge and attitudes were not practically applicable.

Purpose: Food insecurity (FI) is a social determinant of health and health disparity that leads to increased risk of chronic health conditions. Despite the widespread implementation of FI screening in other settings, the role of the anesthesia team in FI screening is underused, increasing the chance of at-risk individuals not being identified. The anesthesia preoperative interview is an opportunity to identify patients experiencing FI and provide resources to improve outcomes.

Background: Existing research fails to address the complex nature of nonspecific chronic lower back pain (cLBP ) despite its detrimental effect on economic, societal, and medical expenditures.
Objectives: We developed a nurse-led, mobile-delivered self-management intervention-Problem-Solving Pain to Enhance Living Well (PROPEL-M)-and evaluated its usability, feasibility, and initial efficacy for South Korean adults with nonspecific cLBP.
Methods: This study was composed of two phases: (a) lab and field usability testing for a gamified mobile device application; and (b) a pilot study employing a one-arm pre-test and post-test design among adults aged 18-60 years with nonspecific cLBP.
We redesigned our nurse preceptor program to meet workforce demands and enhance preceptor satisfaction by addressing gaps in training, support, recognition, and rewards. Guided by the Advisory Board's The Preceptor Toolkit and accredited transition program standards, key improvements included the creation of a Preceptor Program Manager role, preceptor training curriculum updates, expanded continuing education, and increased preceptor incentives. These evidence-based strategies aligned the program with best practices, strengthened preceptor engagement, and fostered retention.
