Article Abstract
In 2024, the French Society of Endocrinology, the French speaking association of endocrine surgery, and the French society of nuclear medicine have elaborated a joint consensus statement on primary hyperparathyroidism, which was presented at the last congress of the French Society of Endocrinology, in October 2024, and subsequently published as 15 individual chapters in the Annals of Endocrinology. This consensus statement is a fruit of a joint effort by over 80 French-speaking experts in the field, including adult and pediatric endocrinologists, endocrine and pediatric surgeons, radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, biologists and geneticists, and has been endorsed by the Belgian and Swiss endocrine societies. This document summarizes the recommendations, subdivided into 15 sections each preceded by a brief introduction. It aimed at covering systematically all areas of diagnosis and management of primary hyperparathyroidism throughout life in a comprehensive way, that we hope could be useful in particular to our younger colleagues in training.

Neuromuscular diseases are often accompanied by various types of sleep-related breathing disorders, which can exacerbate the underlying condition and are associated with a poor prognosis. Early identification is essential, and interventions such as non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, and respiratory rehabilitation should be initiated promptly to mitigate disease progression and improve outcomes. Nevertheless, the rates of missed and misdiagnosed cases remain common in clinical practice.

Purpose: This European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA) formal consensus aims to provide evidence- and expert opinion-based recommendations for the use of point-of-care- and expanded-cell-based therapy (CBT) in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (OA), focusing on indications, preparation, and administration.
Methods: A multidisciplinary group of 77 leading experts in musculoskeletal regenerative medicine from 22 European Countries formed a steering group, a rating group, and a reader group. The steering group developed 23 questions, originating from 27 statements.

Suboptimal care for ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in low- and middle-income countries is a significant problem. Registries from Latin America, Africa, and Asia show that less than 65% of patients receive reperfusion therapy, and widespread treatment delays and a lack of access to optimal therapies lead to preventable deaths and complications. While current guidelines provide a blueprint for care, their implementation in low-resource settings requires specific guidance that considers geographical, logistical, and economic realities.

For decades, the use of cell therapy in treatment of neurorehabilitation conditions have been explored to complement the current, mainstay treatment options; however, a consensus for standardization of the cell therapy and its efficacy has not been reached in the medical community. This study aims to provide a comparative review on the very topic of cell therapy use in neurorehabilitation conditions in an attempt to bridge the gap in knowledge.
