Paragangliomas (PGLs) are rare neuroendocrine tumors originating from chromaffin cells. The synchronous occurrence of bladder and retroperitoneal PGLs is extremely rare. This case highlights the radiological features of dual-site PGLs and their potential for misdiagnosis as bladder cancer with retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis. A 59-year-old female patient was admitted with a 2-week history of abdominal distention. Imaging showed a highly vascularized 1.3 cm × 1.2 cm nodule on the right wall of the bladder and a retroperitoneal mass measuring 1.8 cm × 3.7 cm adjacent to the left side of the abdominal aorta. Postoperative pathological examination confirmed dual-site PGLs. The multifocal appearance and hypervascular characteristics of these tumors may lead to misdiagnosis as bladder cancer with metastasis. Recognizing the clinical, imaging (such as CT and MRI findings), and pathological features is crucial for avoiding misdiagnosis and formulating an appropriate treatment plan.

Background: The role of cystectomy in synchronous oligometastatic bladder cancer is unclear.
Objective: To describe a population-based consecutive cohort with primary oligometastatic bladder cancer (M1a or M1b) treated with curative intent. Methods: Twenty consecutive patients with primary stage M1a or M1b bladder cancer subjected to induction chemotherapy and radical cystectomy 2013-2024 in the Southern healthcare region were identified in the Swedish National Register for Urinary Bladder Cancer.

Initial evaluation revealed a firm, vague mass in the left hypochondrium. Contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography of the kidney, ureter, and bladder showed features consistent with left adrenal myelolipoma, promoting laparoscopic adrenal surgery.

The present case report describes the successful surgical treatment of a rare case of a giant cervical leiomyoma of the uterus associated with bilateral ureterohydronephrosis and the formation of a retroperitoneal perinephric urinoma in the left kidney. A 51-year-old patient presented with urinary retention, constipation, and lower abdominal pain radiating mainly to the lumbar region. A clinical examination revealed a small amount of vaginal bleeding, with the uterine fundus palpable ~2 cm below the navel.
