Article Abstract

In this paper, we developed a cancer dynamical system that incorporates the interaction of tumor cells, immune systems, and drug reaction systems to investigate the impact and therapeutic implications of a fractional order Caputo derivative's with memory effects. The solutions of the proposed system are shown to be bounded and positive. The existence and uniqueness of the solutions of the suggested model are examined using a few fixed-point theorems. The global stability of the system is examined through the use of Lyapunov's first derivative functions. For various fractional values, solutions to the fractional order system are obtained with the help of a fractional operator with a power law kernel. The kernel also checks for unique solutions and verification of the scheme through mathematical analysis using novel approaches. Next, a simulation of the derived iterative technique is made for various fractional orders against the real data at different fractional order values. This fractional order model can be used to investigate the dynamics of tumor cells, the interactions between tumor cells and immune cells, and the effects of medications on the disease. The proposed system's controllability and observability are further addressed by using various therapies as inputs and normal cells as output. A linear control system with a closed-loop design, in which the drug is the input and treated cells are the output, is used to investigate the influence of cancer treatments on different patients.

The steer-by-wire (SbW) system, as the core component of vehicle steering, needs to track the front wheel angle accurately. To mitigate the angle tracking accuracy degradation caused by D-Q axes coupling, time-varying motor electrical parameters, and load disturbance, a fractional-order adaptive fuzzy decentralized tracking control (FAFDTC) strategy is proposed in this paper. First, considering time-varying motor parameters, D-Q axes coupling, and fractional-order characteristics of components, a fractional-order SbW interconnected system is constructed to enhance its ability to characterize nonlinearities, time-varying dynamics, and system coupling.

A novel electrocatalyst, zirconium ferrite nanoparticles (NPs) (ZrFeO NPs), was synthesized through coprecipitation and calcination processes at 300 °C and 500 °C using iron rust. The ZrFeO NPs were used as catalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction. Furthermore, these NPs in an alkaline medium exhibited superior properties of a fractional order supercapacitor, based on which a prototype device was fabricated to demonstrate its energy storage applications.

As a critical component in hydropower systems, the Hydraulic Turbine Regulation System (HTRS) exhibits strong coupling characteristics that impose substantial challenges on control system design, necessitating the development of high-performance control strategies. To address the complex control requirements, this paper proposes an improved T-S fuzzy modeling method based on the Luenberger observer theory. It constructs a system model that combines high accuracy and simplicity.

This study addresses critical technical challenges in fabricating functional pigmented skin models via 3D bioprinting through the synergistic integration of droplet-based deposition and precision motion control. A hybrid bioprinting strategy was developed to create multilayer biomimetic architectures: the dermal layer was fabricated through extrusion of gelatin methacryloyl-polyacrylamide (GelMA-PAM) composites, while the epidermal layer incorporated precisely patterned melanocyte-laden GelMA-PAM arrays deposited via microvalve technology, subsequently solidified and populated with keratinocytes. To enhance printing reliability, a fractional-order proportional-integral control system optimized through particle swarm optimization (PSO-FOPI) was implemented, significantly improving motor speed regulation and positioning accuracy.

Multi-site neuroimaging studies have become increasingly common in order to generate larger samples of reproducible data to answer questions associated with smaller effect sizes. The data harmonization model NeuroCombat has been shown to remove site effects introduced by differences in site-related technical variance while maintaining group differences, yet its effect on improving statistical power in pre-clinical models of CNS disease is unclear. The present study examined fractional anisotropy data computed from diffusion weighted imaging data at 3 and 30 days post-controlled cortical impact injury from 184 adult rats across four sites as part of the Translational-Outcome-Project-in-Neurotrauma (TOP-NT) Consortium.
