Acrochordons are benign skin neoplasms that originate from mesenchymal and ectodermal tissues. These lesions are commonly found in regions of the skin that experience friction or folding. This report presents a 48-year-old female patient who exhibited a 3 cm acrochordon located on the right labia majora of her vulva. A thorough review of her medical history did not reveal any identifiable risk factors that could account for the onset and rapid growth of the polyp. A wide surgical excision was conducted, and the subsequent histopathological examination confirmed a polypoid proliferation of the stroma, accompanied by a hypocellular stroma composed of spindle cells and loose collagenous stroma. At the six-month follow-up, the patient showed no signs of recurrence.

Leiomyomas are the most common benign mesenchymal tumors of the esophagus, and they account for nearly two-thirds of benign esophageal neoplasms. The leiomyomas of the esophagus present with numerous nonspecific symptoms and signs, including dysphagia, shortness of breath, anorexia, weight loss, chronic cough, and bowel obstruction. The patient in this case report presented with moderate to severe right upper quadrant pain and mild dysphagia, which initially prompted evaluation for hepatobiliary pathology.

Gastrointestinal schwannomas are benign, slow-growing, rare tumors comprising 2-6% of all mesenchymal tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and 0.2% of all gastric neoplasms. In the gastrointestinal system, schwannomas are mostly observed in the stomach, followed by the colon and rectum.

Although often benign, PPGLs can metastasize unpredictably, with limited therapeutic options once disseminated. Progress has been hindered by the lack of robust preclinical models, especially those that capture their molecular complexity and microenvironmental influences.
