Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) frequently involves patients with multiple co-morbidities. The drugs prescribed for these conditions may lead to complications during the transplant procedure, either through their mechanism of action, their adverse reaction profile or the risk of pharmacological interactions with the drugs prescribed for the allo-HSCT procedure and its complications. Therefore, each patient's drug-related risks must be assessed prior to allo-HSCT. Various therapeutic decisions may be considered to limit the occurrence of complications. The aim of this study is to propose a methodology for anticipating these issues prior to allo-HSCT and to propose a consensual therapeutic approach for therapeutic situations commonly encountered in the context of hematopoietic stem cell allogeneic transplantation. We specifically address cardiovascular, psychotropic drugs, and anti-infectives medications, antidiabetics and anticoagulants.

Esophageal cancer (EC) is one of the most serious health issues around the world, ranking seventh among the most lethal types of cancer and eleventh among the most common types of cancer worldwide. Traditional therapies-such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy-often yield limited success, especially in the advanced stages of EC, prompting the pursuit of novel and more effective treatment strategies. Immunotherapy has emerged as a promising option; nonetheless, its clinical success is hindered by variable patient responses.

Cardiac organoids are 3D self-assembling structures that recapitulate some of the functional, structural, and cellular aspects of the developing heart. Cardiac organoid modeling has overcome many of the limitations of current cardiac modeling systems by providing a human-relevant, multicellular, spatially advanced model that can replicate early key developmental stages of human cardiogenesis. Recent advancements in cardiac organoid modeling have enabled further understanding of cardiogenesis, cardiovascular disease, and drug-induced cardiotoxicity.

Acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHDa) is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) patients. While the first-line consensus treatment has been based on systemic corticosteroid therapy for many years, ruxolitinib has recently been approved and has become the standard second-line treatment. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of ruxolitinib remains limited to 40 % of cortico-resistant patients, raising the crucial question of selecting a third-line treatment.

Aim: To summarise key epidemiological and therapeutic research on osteoarthritis (OA) published between April 2024 and March 2025.
Methods: A narrative review was conducted using the MEDLINE database, focusing on English-language studies involving human participants published between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025. Eligible studies included observational longitudinal studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and phase II-IV randomised controlled trials (RCTs) examining OA treatment and epidemiology.
